AUMC musical groups exist to bring glory to God by sharing the talent He has given to us. Praise Band, Chancel Choir, Vesper Ringers, and Band of Churchman are just some the adult groups that exalt the Lord through music. Care for children ages 3 and younger is provided by our trained nursery caregivers. During our regular worship schedule, the nursery is available from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and as needed for bible study and special programs.
Children & Youth Sunday School Classes
On Sunday mornings, we offer classes for children age 2 through grade 12. Teachers work in teams and offer bible-based learning, age appropriate curriculum, and hands-on fun in all classes! Classes begin at 9:45 AM. Visit Kids Website
Adult Sunday School Classes
Adult Sunday School classes are offered weekly on Sunday mornings. We cover a variety of topics, each lasting for a set number of weeks. For all class listings, please contact the Church office. Classes begin at 9:45 AM.
Our current, Adult Sunday School classes include:
Revive -- Young adults, some are attending college, others are venturing out into their careers, some are doing both. Meets in Revive classroom on the main level across from choir room.
NBKR--No Bible Knowledge Required -- An adult class that follows an open discussion format. This class covers both bible-based studies and topical Christian studies. The interactive class style offers a great opportunity for open discussion and fellowship that helps us all continue to grow in our faith. Don't know the bible? No problem! We are all on a faith journey and everyone is welcome regardless of where you are in your journey. Join us as we come together to study, question and grow together in our Christian faith.*
Coming Alive -- A very welcoming group of women from all walks of life. Meets in Room 006 on the lower level.*
Faithful Connections -- A friendly and supportive group of people with mostly grown children or grandchildren blessing their lives. A group that you feel welcomed by the moment they see you. Meets in Room 004 on the lower level.*
Seekers -- A fantastic group of very faithful, mature in age people. They mainly use curriculum focusing on Books of the Bible. Meets in Room 008 on the lower level.
Christian Forum -- An amazing group of fun loving, faithful and mature in age people who use the United Methodist curriculum throughout the year. Meets in the Chapel beside the Sanctuary.
*NBKR, Coming Alive and Faithful Connections are often focused on Christian living and use a variety of Christian media and books.
Every Sunday, youth in grades 6-12 will have the opportunity to participate in bible learning as well as a fun fellowship event. For more information, contact the church office or Visit Youth Website.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
VBS is a week-long summer camp, usually held in June, for children age 3 through 5th grade. It combines bible learning, fellowship, active play, and refreshments for an excellent adventure. Themes vary year to year, but always promise lots of fun for your children!
