Small Groups

Small groups play a vital role in the church. From the time of Christ's teachings to today, small groups have been instrumental in establishing relationships and creating community.  Small groups allow the church to grow and reach out while at the same time developing a valuable church family.

lunch bunch

Want a lunch hour to feed your soul as well as your body? Join the Lunch Bunch at noon on Thursday for bible study, prayer and fellowship. Bring your brown bag as we break down the Bible chapter by chapter and dig deep into the meaning of the reading and what it means to us. We also share outside sources of information to help deepen our understanding of His Holy Word.

prayer and share

Prayer is the foundation of a strong relationship with God. Join us Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. as we come together in fellowship and pray for our Church and any other areas that God has placed on our hearts. Our group also reads from the Bible, shares devotions and discusses topics that we feel led by the Spirit to share.

women United

The membership of the Women United is open to all women.

We meet the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the church parlor. We have continued to serve meals for funeral dinners, Core Community, and local Blood Drive. We help pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child and help with VBS and Meals on Wheels. Each year in May, we give an engraved bible to each high school graduate and serve a breakfast meal to the graduates and their family. We host a Summer Salad Supper in July for all the ladies of the church. Our December meeting is a cookie exchange. We support the operation of the kitchen and supplies for all church activities including the youth and WOW groups. We are dedicated to serving our community in very practical ways.

Pickle ball club

We have a group that plays both Tuesdays and Thursday 4-6pm. They also meet on the weekends but it depends on what else is taking place at the church on day and times.

Contact Tina Heinrich at 316-351-1470 to verify time/days before coming out.
